STORMWATER MANAGEMENT

The Town of Mendon is currently striving to develop and maintain regulations and procedures that encourage awareness of Stormwater Management. As part of the Small Municipal Separate Storm Sewer Systems (MS4) Permit that was obtained in 2003, a Stormwater Management Plan was developed. This plan encompasses many aspects of stormwater pollution and runoff controls, and involves almost every department in the town. A copy of the Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan is available at the Highway Department. It can be viewed in spreadsheet form here.
