Seasonal Flu Clinic

Date:  Monday, October 26, 2009 

Time:  10:00 a.m.- 11:30 a.m.

Location:  Mendon Senior Center - 62 Providence Street 

The VNA and Hospice of Greater Milford, in cooperation with the Mendon Board of Health is sponsoring the following seasonal flu immunization clinic for the residents of Mendon. 

This clinic is for town residents only.  Please be sure to bring with you either a copy or the original of you Medicare and other insurance cards.  Please note:  Clinics are subject to change due to the production and delivery fo the flu vaccine.

Although the seasonal flu vaccine does not protect against H1N1, the CDC strongly recommends administration of the seasonal vaccine for:

• All children 6 mo - 18 years
• All persons > 50 years of age
• Women who will be pregnant during the flu season
• Those 6 mo. or older with a chronic pulmonary (including asthma), cardiovascular (except hypertension), renal, hepatic, neurological/neruromuscular, hematologic, or metobolic (including diabetes) disorder.

Vaccine will be adminstered on a first come, first serve basis.
